I started building it in January, 2000 and it took me 4 months to build. It is powered by a PTO on top of a split-shaft, which diverts the drive shaft power from the rear axle to the machine (like a fire engine). I used gear belts instead of “V” belts for maximum horsepower. This has been the most reliable machine I have ever owned. Not shown in the video are the control panel, water and solution boxes and the seperator (recovery tank). They are behind and above the blower and pump. The machine sits just in front of the rear axle for optimum weight distribution and usage of space. The belt cover was removed for this video. There are heat exchangers for the engine coolant, engine oil and blower exhaust which raise the solution temperature to approximately 250 degrees F.
